WIND AND RENEWABLE ENERGY SERVICES

Originally founded in order to provide land services to the oil and gas industry and solar. We have expanded our knowledge and skills to the wind and renewable energy sources.

We offer a course that will teach you the basics of wind power and solar. This course is designed to provide an overview of current wind power technology from aspects consisting of Clerk of Court - conveyance records, acquisitions of right of ways and easements, wind leases and solar.

Teachers

David O. Murphy, CEO of Murphy Energy Resources, LLC. and Director of Wind and Green Energy Training Academy, Inc., Independent Professional Landman, 15 plus years experience; acting as broker/landman in abstract and title, leasing acquisitions, right of way and seismograph; worked for companies managing projects worth over one billion dollars throughout the gulf state region consisting of Louisiana, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas and Texas.

Dr. Mark Kaiser, a Professor and Director of the Research and Development Division at the Center for Energy Studies at Louisiana State University and holds an Adjunct position in the Department of Petroleum Engineering. He has been involved in the energy industry for over 10 years and has lead a number of the Center's research studies in the oil and gas and renewable energy industry.

David P. Bergeron, Sr., Independent Professional Landman, 25 plus years experience; acting as broker/agent supervisor, project coordinator and lead broker on various land service projects in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas and Virginia (work included). Class consists of the understanding of Clerk of Court records and abstract of title.

Andrew Barry, Senior Attorney for the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Has worked as an independent landman and worked for Amoco Production Company in New Orleans, Louisiana. Handled land functions in geographical areas throughout South Louisiana and negotiated farmin, farmout, surface use and operating agreements at terms favorable to the company; supervised ten field personnel who leased over twenty thousand acres; spent one year doing field work and has consistently ranked top producer. Made weekly presentations to management regarding viable and ongoing projects and prospects; acquired oil and gas leases and developed amicable company relationships with several families and corporations having substantial landholdings in South Louisiana. Class consists of the understanding of Leases.

Jason Holley, Right of Way Instructor, Independent Professional Landman; acting as broker/agent, seismic - permit agent/right of way agent working directly with all facet actual seismic operations, survey crew, drilling crew, line crew, vibration crew and damages. Class consists of the understanding of Right of Way Acquisitions.
